Below is a beautiful affirmation that I found particularly inspiring this week. It’s been a life changer the past few weeks as I get closer and yet further away I know it’s a paradox.
I believe that competition prep is completely transformative on all levels that one can feel so together and so separate at the same time.
With two short work weeks due to Easter break and the same amount of hours and responsibilities I was so grateful to get to Friday and that is never a preferred lifestyle for me, I was acutely reminded of the stress of a time poor mindset whether I wanted it or not and also aware of the feeling of marching to another beat none of which work well for me, stress emotional, mental, physical energetic just creates tension and restriction non of which is good for human beings, again balance is key so I hope you enjoy my affirmation and may it take yo forward into a peace filled week.
Warmest regards Vanessa xx
“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.
The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
Let us rise up and be thankful; for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.
Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet.Do your work with mastery.Like the moon, come out from behind the clouds! Shine.
You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.
Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” – Buddha
