Personal responsibility for your life, your thoughts, your emotions, actions and behaviours is the key to a well grounded & co created life.

We may not be able to control what happens around us, although being clear on who you are as a person, your beliefs, values, integrity to name a few virtues will enhance your experience of life regardless of the seemingly random events that you may find yourself involved in and exposed to on a day to day basis.

For at the end of each day it is you that you tuck into bed at night, it’s your mind, your emotions and your sense of what is right and not so right for you that informs your choices.

You have to live with you 24/7, accepting you are 100% responsible for how you enjoy or struggle within that time is the key to a peace filled, contented life.

Now it isn’t easy some days, when life’s ups and downs shake you to your very core, challenge your patience, send your mind racing and your emotions seesawing and beginning a daily practice of checking in will really help to create a sense of personal empowerment over how you react or respond to life’s circumstances.

Ask yourself a few powerful questions to help you remain in tune with your deepest self, your best version, the other aspects are all loveable too, just in need of some wise counsel and guidance, allow yourself to lead the way.

3 questions to ask each day:

How do I want to feel today?

If I could respond to this situation with acceptance and kindness, what would I say, how would I respond?

Even though I feel upset, angry, hurt, sad, disappointed etc how can I contribute to a better experience?

After accepting and acknowledging your own feelings and thoughts, (don’t wait for someone else to give you permission, you are in charge of you remember!)

Set about actioning one of the above responses and see your life circumstances change for the better, yes it’s all about intent and being willing to co create a better experience for your enjoyment and if that inspires or influences others than that’s a bonus.

Remember be patient, sometimes things can change in a second and other times a little practice is required to make this your permanent way of living.
